STEREOTYPE In Indian Society.
Indian Stereotypes – Time to Update the Software 😜
🗝 All Punjabis are Sikhs?
Oh really? Then where did Punjabi-speaking Hindus, Muslims, Christians go? Did they disappear in a magic trick? 😂
🗝 All Rajasthanis/Marwaris are Jains?
Interesting… So the 85% Hindu population of Rajasthan just vanished? 🤣
🗝 People from UP and MP speak only Hindi?
Then who is speaking Braj, Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Bundeli, Bagheli, Malvi, Nimadi, and Gondi? Ghosts? 👀
🗝 All people of Karnataka are only Kannadigas?
Hello! What about Tuluvas, Bearys, Kodavas, Konkani and Sankethi communities? Karnataka is not a single-flavour ice cream 😭 its one state many world's.
🗝 All Gujaratis and Rajasthanis are vegetarians?
Then why are there so many poultry and meat shops there? Decoration pieces? 😁
🗝 As per Mangaloran all Indian Christians speak Konkani?
Then where did Malayali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Khasi, Mizo, and Marathi Christians go? Missing report filed? 😄
🗝 All North Eastern people are Nepalese?
You can recognise a foreign country’s features but not your own fellow Indians? Come on! 😅
🗝 Goans speak Goanese / Portuguese as their mother tongue?
No boss, it’s Konkani — spoken all along the Konkan coast from below Daman Ganga river of Gujarat until Kasargod of Kerala 😆
🗝 Kodagu, Nilgiris, Kutch, Wayanad, Ladakh are town names?*
They are regional identities, not just “Google map locations” ☺
🗝 Everyone in Telangana speaks Hyderabadi Urdu?
Mostly Hyderabad city and some communities do. The whole state didn’t download the same language pack 😀
🗝 All Gujaratis are Patels?
Then where did Rajputs, Brahmins, vaishyas, Khojas, Bohras and others go? On vacation? 😂
🗝 Urdu is mother tongue of Muslim community?
So Muslims who speak Malayalam, Kashmiri, Bengali, Punjabi, Konkani, Kodava, etc. are what exactly? 🤣
🗝 Kodava, Sindhi, Badaga, Nepali, Kutchi are caste ?
No, its a linguistic identity, There are many communities who speak each Language. Language is not VIP entry-only 😄
🗝 All Malayalis and Goans are Christians?
Then where did the majority Hindu population go? Hidden mode? 😉
🗝 Bihari is a language?
Nope. It’s an state identity. Languages are Maithili, Bhojpuri, Magahi and more 😁
🗝 Kutchi is just Gujarati?
Actually, it’s closer to Sindhi abd even considered dialect of Sindhi. Plot twist! 😐
🗝 These languages don’t have scripts and use “Hindi script”?
First, it’s called Devanagari. Second, many have their own scripts like Tigalari, Tirhuta, Modi, Ol Chiki and more 🙄
🗝 North Indians call all South Indians are “Madrasis”?
Only people from old Madras (Chennai) speak Tamil. South India has Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tulu, Kodava, Badaga and more. One country, many languages! 🤣
